If you are between the ages of 4 and 6 years, you can attend one of our mini activity mornings which we run during school holidays. This is a two hour fun session aimed especially at our younger riders! The morning starts at 10.00am and runs until 12.00pm.
A typical session includes a 30 minute riding lesson, 30 minutes of supervised grooming and pony handling, colouring and other pony themed activities (split into 30 minute sessions to give variety and help concentration!).
Booking: To book your session simply give us a call on 01427 890802 and quote your order number. Bookings are usually made at least one week in advanced, but we can sometimes take bookings at shorter notice. Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings via Facebook or Email.
Cancellation Policy: Please try to give us as much notice as possible if you have to cancel a booking. A charge of 50% of the lesson price will be made for any ride cancelled after 4pm on the day prior to your booking. We regret that this will apply whatever the cause of cancellation in order to avoid the general surcharge that would have to be added on to all lessons to cover staffing and running costs. Less than 1 hours notice or non-attendance incurs a 100% charge. If you arrive late for your lesson for any reason, we will be unable to run your lesson over the time it is due to finish and full payment will be required for the lesson. We do not accept cancellation via Facebook or Email.
Clothing: It is a good idea to bring a waterproof coat, as lessons continue regardless of the weather. If you have not ridden before, wear comfortable leggins or loose fitting jeans, flat shoes (they must have a small heel) or wellies (no trainers). Riding hats can be borrowed. However, after your first few lessons, it is a good idea to purchase your own hat which should be a minimum standard PAS 1998 & 2011 with Kitemark, VG1 with Kitemark or SNELL E2001. It is also advisable to purchase proper riding boots and body protector for jumping.
